  Pencil sketches by John Glover done in V.D.L and a parcel of his continental sketches. From the library of Henry Button, Launceston, who married Glover’s daughter. 10 ½ x 6 ½’ – Inside front cover.
  
  There are no continental sketches in this book, and Button did not marry John Glover’s daughter but his grand-daughter who was the niece of John Richardson. This could have been written by the same hand as `Sketch book by John Glover’ by a later collector
• Attributions / conjectures
  
  It has been ascribed by John McPhee (PXn 527) to be the work of John Richardson Glover. The sketchbook is marbled with deep red trim on the corners and spine, watermark is not discernable.
