Each vignette is individually titled, 'Hills near Como' ... 'Old houses at Como'.

Work was previously though to be Como, N.S.W., but this appears to be incorrect compared with photographs showing topography at Como, N.S.W at SPF/Como, N.S.W. The topography appears to be more similar to that at Lake Como, Italy, compared with stereographic views at PXA 10, pt. 1, no. 1-7.

According to the donor, the work was possibly published in Illustrated Sydney News.
