Two are signed 'W.S.' ; two are signed 'Walter Syer'. All are titled. A section of a letter on Australian Club letterhead, from Paterson to Syer, is on the back of the sketch ; another sketch is followed by an untitled verse.

Three are dated between September 1900 and 1901.
