    The print was issued by the artist for the Library Association's Exhibition in 1902.

    The photographic copy of this broadsheet in commemoration of J.P. Fawkner, inscribed by A.R. Turnbull, 1944 (located at X655.1901/1), states that the woodcut was pulled by Lady Hopetoun on J.P. Fawkner's press which is now in the State Library of Victoria.

    Date and title are within the design as above along lower edge of block. Along the top edge of block also within the design is 'A print and that a poor one from the press / Of Fawkner publican and printing jobber. / Yet Fawkner's sheet was welcome none the less / Where men wore curly hats and funny clobber'.
