    Con Harold Allen (1889-1915) was a private in the 2nd Battalion (Infantry), Australian Army. His date of embarkation was 11 February 1915 in Sydney on board the HMAT Seang Bee. He was killed in action at Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey, on 1 May 1915. He is buried at Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey. He was a chemist and metallurigist, and was 26 years old at the time of his death.
