    44 badges on 1 ammunition belt - 99 x 5.5 cm - metal badges on leather
  • Scope and Content
    Comprises leather belt with metal buckle. Belt covered along entire length with four cartridges and forty-four military badges of varying sizes and design. Badges secured onto belt by strips of leather, matches, safety pins and metal wire. Australian, New Zealand and British services, both army and navy, are represented. Also included are various unidentified naval, railway and tramway buttons, probably from uniforms:
