    This collection includes sound recordings (2 sound tape reels) at MLOH 17/1-2 (formerly TR 465-466)
    The sound recordings appear to contain a reading / dramatisation for radio of Joan Clarke's book 'Dr Max Herz, surgeon extraordinary: the human price of civil and medical bigotry in Australia.' Each reel is approximately 20 to 30 mins. Dr Herz, a German migrant who first lived in New Zealand and migrated to Australia in 1910, was an orthopedic surgeon practicing in Sydney. He wrote a book on New Zealand, amongst others.
