In this post, he was required to travel throughout rural towns, often contributing prose and poetry to local publications as well as to the metropolitan press. - Collection historyMarsden Hordern, the donor of this collection, is the grandson of Walter D. White.
- Scope and ContentChiefly comprises postcards that Walter D. White sent back to his family during his travels across New South Wales. Also included are holiday postcards and photographs related to White's family, including his daughter Iris Mary Hordern and her children.
