  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Walter Bradley kept a furniture store in Bligh Street over a 100 years ago. He lived at Aston Lodge, Randwick (photo in collecton). He came out from England with 10 pounds and had 16 children. He gave Moore Park to the City of Sydney and founded Moore Park Zoo. He was one of seven men who sponsored the Royal Easter Show. He was also a member of the NSW Legislative Assembly for 24 days and he knew Sir John Robinson and the Suttors well (neighbours?)
