  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    The Great Synagogue War Memorial Centre was built as a tribute to those who served in the cause of freedom, 1914-1918 and 1939-1945. The foundation stone was set by His Excellency the Governor of New South Wales, Lieutenant General Sir John Northcott on 20 February, 1955.
