  • Collection history
    The initial consignment of papers and pictorial material of E. O. Martin was presented by L. W. O. Martin in March 1973 (MLMSS 2498; Pic.Acc.2770), with further pictorial material added in October-December 1973 (MLMSS 2498 ADD-ON 628, MLMSS 2498 ADD-ON 641) and December 1974 (MLMSS 2498 ADD-ON 817).

    Approx. 156 loose and mounted portraits and snapshots relating to family, school, college and professional activities and public office. Includes:

    Family photographs: L. O. Martin, Lucy Maund, Blanche Jenkins, Bill Seldon, Annie [Dulhunty?] on the verandah of Wahgunyah, Blackheath, 1st July 1896; Mrs L. O. Martin with children E.W.O, R.A.O., S.G.O., [G?].W.O. & L.D.O.; view of unidentified house and property; approx. 20 Martin family holiday snapshots in Tasmania (including New Norfolk , Mt Wellington, Cascade gardens, Huon River, Launceston Power Station).
