  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Ross Bros., general printers, was founded in 1862 as Lee and Ross, printers. Later it became Ross Mann and Company and then Ross Bros. The firm's premises were originally on the corner of Market and Castlereagh Streets, Sydney (now David Jones). They moved to Market Street (now the State Theatre) in 1876. Further moves were to Castlereagh Street (now the Fire Station) and then to 545 Kent Street in about 1886. The firm is now known as Ross Print.
