    Jantzen was established in the U.S in 1902, selling swimsuits internationally including in
    Australia, releasing Australian designed Jantzen swimwear for over 40 years.
    The Bank of New South Wales was the first bank of Australia, established under Governor Macquarie in 1817. The Bank introduced a staff magazine in 1951, which continued until 1968, and focused on providing commentary on contemporary issues of the day.
  • Scope and Content
    The photographs were used for an article on women's fashions in the staff magazine of the Bank of NSW, 'The Etruscan', June 1953, Vol.3, No.1, p.36., 'The Way to Modern Dress' by Marjorie Burke, 1953.
