'La Milo' or 'The Modern Milo' were the stage names of the pose plastique performer Pansy Montague. She first appeared on stage at the Alexandra Theatre in Melbourne ca. 1900. In 1905, 'The Modern Milo' presented a 'Fac-simile of Ancient and Modern Statuary and Sculpture' in a series of poses plastiques for Harry Rickards's variety theatres. In 1906 she went to England where under the name 'La Milo' she began a long theatrical career.
