The 6th Australian General Hospital was formed in July 1940, commanded by Colonel R. A. Money. The unit was posted to the Middle East in December 1940 and returned to Australia in February 1943. The unit was henceforth known as the 2/6th Australian General Hospital. Between July and early December 1945 the Unit was situated at Labnan, an island off North West Borneo and returned to Australia in December, 1945 - Copying ConditionsResearch & study copies allowed
