    Frank E. Baily was a tutor at Gimboomba Station (Queensland) from September 1867 to November 1869 and at Rosewood from July to October 1871. In July 1874 he married E. F. Fowles, the daughter of Joseph Fowles.
    Baily was choirmaster at the South Brisbane Church of England August 1870-July 1871, agent to Mme Mallaliey and to R. T. Jefferies and sec. of the South Brisbane Harmonic Society February-September 1872, a member of the Brisbane Musical Union and wrote for the Musical Times, London.
