    Journal of H.M.S. Sphinx, 5 December 1861-22 April 1862 includes a chart of the track of the Sphinx in search of the crew of the barque Norna which had set sail from Newcastle, N.S.W., and been lost on the St Augustine Reef, 31 March 1861, and gives details of the voyage among various Pacific islands, especially the Pelew Islands
