    Sir Thomas Livingstone Mitchell, 1792-1855, the owner of Lindsay, Darling Point; Craigend, Darlinghurst and Parkhall, Appin, N.S.W., married Mary Blunt, daughter of General Richard Blunt in 1818. Blunt made a settlement on his daughter's marriage appointing George Ranken, William Macpherson and Sir Charles Nicholson trustees. On the death of Blunt's son and later of his wife further settlements were made on Lady Mitchell, her husband and their children
