  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    On 3 November, 1927, a Sydney ferry steamer, the 'Greycliffe' travelling between Circular Quay and Watson's Bay, collided with the Union S.S. Company of New Zealand's liner 'Tahiti' outward bound for San Francisco via New Zealand. The 'Greycliffe' was cut in two, and 40 passengers lost their lives.
