  • Scope and Content
    1. Proceedings of the Executive Council on 5 July 1852, with reference to a letter to the Government his three engraved copper plates of the general map of this colony together with three hundred impressions thereof.

    2. Despatch, dated 14 February 1853, to Governor Fitzroy, giving permission to buy copper plates and about 300 impressions of Sir T.L. Mitchell's general map of N.S.W.

    3. Calculation of rent for one James Kirby at Moorabool St (?), in envelope addressed to the Rev. C. Davies of Norfolk Plains, Longford, with signature of C.J. La Trobe. No date.

    4. Printed satiric poem entitled, 'The Sorrows of an Unfortunate Man'. Apparently set in Hobart. The name, Peter Fidgett, is probably a pen name.

    5. Printed card with manuscript superscription: 'For Mr. Ronald C. Gunn. Australian Club. Don Eduardo San Just. 19 January 1864.

    6. Letter from John Thompson, dated Sydney 25 June 1853, to the Colonial Secretary respecting plates and impressions of map of the colony.
