    Library inscription on non-archival cardboard backing board (discarded November 2013) reads: "These are holograph documents supplied in response to a request from the Agent-General". Enclosed copy of covering letter from Premier's Department to the Principal Librarian, 6 January 1920, states that the [NSW] Agent General "has now forwarded three autograph letters obtained at the suggestion of Mr Southwell, from Field Marshall Lord Viscount Allenby, General Sir William R. Birdwood and General Sir Henry S. Rawlonson, Bart, respectively, which I enclose forthwith."
