Wendy Shortland is a contemporary artist based in Sydney.

Shortland has taught acrylic painting, book art and sketching. She has an Advanced Diploma in Fine Art at the Sydney Gallery School, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in painting and drawing, at COFA (College of Fine Arts)"

Wendy's recent works are of the urban landscape of inner Sydney. A childhood interest in ships has returned in her recent work of fine art prints and drawings.
