    Mary Abbott must have drawn this poster for the keep fit classes on the deck of a ship. The poster has holes made by drawing pins in each corner
  • Scope and Content
    The poster features a young woman in a fashionable suit easily handling two suitcases and a hatbox, all drawn in black ink. The verse is drawn diagonally across the top left hand corner of the poster and the keep fit class details are in bold black and red lettering on th elower edge. The poster seems to be drawn by a professional commercial artist

    Text of the poster:
    "When life is becoming a bore-
    And your trunks mount to luggage galore
    Just bend from the knees --
    Keep fit if you please
    And you'll carry your trunks with ease"
