- Scope and ContentVolume 3 includes drawings of cockatoos, parrakeets, lory, lorikeets, pigeons, wonga-wonga, bronze wings, doves, wattled tallegalla [i.e. brush turkey], leipoa, megapode, turnix, hemipode, quail, emu, cassowary, bustard, plovers, oyster catchers, pewits, dottrels, pratincole, stilt, avocat, godwits, sandpipers, greenshank, and turn stone. Some plates contain more than one drawing.
Each drawing is followed by a page with the scientific name of the bird; with volume and page number.
