Scope and Content
The completed project took the form of an event held at school to raise awareness of the need for the Australian Constitution to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The event involved setting up and decorating the room, a Power Point presentation, interactive exercises and a guest speaker from the group Recognise. A survey of participants before and after the event highlighted the success of the event in raising awareness and changing attitudes.
