The NSW State Electoral Office (SEO) is mandated to dispense to parties funding for 'political education' purposes, the amount received being proportionate to their electoral success. The Political Education Fund Worker/Office Manager is responsible to "oversee the expenditure and auditing of the Political Education Fund and to ensure the smooth running of The Greens NSW office". The Political Education Fund may be spent upon a range of activities of 'political education', such as, producing newsletters, maintaining a website, answering telephone enquiries from the public, and groups and individuals submit proposals for use of the Political Education Fund.
