- Scope and ContentManuscript ‘receit’ i.e. recipe, written in brown ink on a single sheet of wove paper with armorial watermark, 20 x 15.5 cm. The recipe combines sulphur of brimstone, brown sugar, butter and porter, boiled together, the liquid to be taken by mouth and the sediment applied to the body.
