One of two Martin Sharp papercut collages designed for the Centenary of Australian Federation celebrations in 2001. This design featured on the front cover of The Sydney Morning Herald Centenary of Federation edition, January 1, 2001. The work was part of the private collection of Richard Neville and Julie Clarke Neville, long time friends and associates of Martin Sharp.

Paper collage featuring the Eureka flag, map of Australia overlayed with rising sun, and a background of ocean waves . Signed "S." in red lettering along lower edge, right of center. The collage is composed from painted paper cuttings, predominantly red, yellow, blue, black and white.
