This series is comprised of correspondence received by Gribble from members of his family, Aboriginals, government departments, the Australian Board of Missions and various organisations. Most of the correspondence is related to his missionary work at Yarrabah, Forrest River and Palm Island although there is a number of personal letters as well.

Alphabetically by name of correspondent then chronologically by date of letter. Those who were writing as part of an organisation have been placed under the name of the organisation. Items 11/13-11/17 are in chronological order.
