  Dr Louise R Mayhew is an Australian feminist art historian and the Foundation Theory Convenor at Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Her research interests include Australian art history, contemporary art, collaboration, feminism and ethical self representation. In 2015, Dr Mayhew interviewed Anne Sheridan and Marla Guppy, to complement her research on the State Library of New South Wales's collection of posters created by the Women's Warehouse.

• Scope and Content
  Anne Sheridan and Marla Guppy were members of the Women's Warehouse, a feminist collective active from 1979-1981 at Bay 9, no. 4 Ultimo Road, Haymarket, and were also founders of Harridan Screenprinters.
  
  In this interview, Anne Sheridan and Marla Guppy discuss specific memories of posters and working at the Women's Warehouse. They comment on the professional and personal connections the collective had with other feminist groups, the roster system of sharing the screenprinting facilities, and working conditions in the studio. They reflect on the politics of the time, collective meetings and confrontations. They also discuss specific posters from the collection, reporting on their printers, identifying the aesthetics of different members in the group and recalling how posters were designed and received.
