    This series is comprised of newscuttings collected by Gribble and his mother, Mary A. Gribble and about him.
    Some of the cuttings are loose while others have been pasted into scrapbooks and albums. The cuttings deal with the Gribble family, J. B. and E.R. Gribble's life as missionaries, Aboriginals, the missions they worked on and also some of E.R. Gribble's writings that were published in newspapers. Some of the items deal with specific events or people. 20/5 and 20/7 are related to J.B. Gribble's libel case against the West Australian and James Noble respectively.

    Cuttings pasted into an exercise book re: J.B. Gribble's illness and death, libel case, Bellenden Ker Mission at Yarrabah and the taking over of Bellenden Ker by E.R. Gribble. Also includes a descriptive pamphlet about the Warangesda Mission and a certificate of entrance into the `Independent Order of Good Templars'. The cuttings are mainly from the Sydney Morning Herald, the Churchman and Missionary Notes, 1886-1893

    Cuttings pasted into a scrapbook re J.B Gribble's libel case, the Bellenden Ker Mission, the Aboriginal Offenders Act Amendment Bill, and writings of J.B. Gribble. Cuttings are mainly from the Sydney Daily Telegraph, Brisbane Observer, The Christian, The West Australian, and the Evening Observer, 1891-1892

    Cuttings pasted onto paper inside two pieces of wood sewn together. The cuttings deal mainly with J.B. Gribble, the history of his libel case, other missionaries, E.R. Gribble, the wreck of the Amarac. There is some indexing at the front and the back of the volume and also a copy of a circular to the Bishops of Tasmania and Australia. The cuttings are mainly from the Brisbane Observer, the Brisbane Telegraph, Cairns Post, the Queenslander, Sydney Morning Herald, Muswellbrook Chronicle, Church Standard, the New Guinea Mission, the West Australian and the Church Chronicle, 1890-1906
