    John Francis Ashwood was a farrier who married Ellen Elizabeth Morris in 1884. They resided with their daughters in Victoria Street, Roseville. John died in February 1921, and in a newspaper advertisement it was recorded that his estate was valued at £47,790.

    Title based on pencil inscription on verso of card mount.
    Information about names and dates was provided by Nell Weir to the Camden Historical Society and inscribed in pencil on verso of card mount.

    John Francis Ashwood was a Sydney Farrier.
    Died 1930
    Wife: Ellen Elizabeth Morris married in 1884. Died also in 1930.
    Three daughters (L to R)
    May (never married). Frances May Ashwood of Roseville born in 1884 Glebe. Died in 1980 aged 96.
    Queenie Florence m John Robertson (Ashwood Robertson).
    Elena known as 'Elma' never married (built a large house in Melbourne). Born 1890 Sydney.
    Donated by a friend of Queenie, Ms Nell Weir of Camden, donor, born 1887, Glebe. Died 1975 aged 88".
