• ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY
  
  Designed and built as Ken Woolley’s family home, the house is on a steep bushland site at 34 Bullecourt Avenue in Mosman, a northern suburb of Sydney, N.S.W. It received the 1962 Wilkinson Award for a house of outstanding architectural merit, awarded by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects N.S.W. Chapter. It was heritage listed by Mosman Council in 1999 and the NSW Heritage Office in 2001 as an important early work of Woolley and an outstanding example of the Sydney School style of architecture. A subsequent owner bequeathed the property to the University of New South Wales to be used as a residence for visiting academics.

• Scope and Content
  Nineteen sheets of drawings created in the course of designing the house at 34 Bullecourt Avenue, Mosman, which was built for Woolley himself. The drawings include plans, elevations, sections and details. Also included are drawings for later alterations and additions to the house. Numbers and letters in brackets refer to annotations on drawings.
