Suzanne (Suzy) Molyneux (1944-2017) was a family educator and prominent environmental activist who was raised in Manly, a suburb of Sydney, and moved to Bundanoon, in the New South Wales Southern Highlands, later in life. For 25 years she was the manager of the Toy Box Centre in Bowral, an educational organisation for children with disabilities. She helped to set up this group after finding there were no other such groups in the area for her daughter, who has a disability. Her interest in environmental issues began with protesting commercial use of the Bundanoon aquifer to produce bottled water, and she became a regular contributor to environmental debate at a local and state level. She was a member of several community organisations including the Southern Highland Coal Action Group, GetUp, TEAR, One Million Women, and Bundy on Tap (an initiative to make Bundanoon a 'bottled-water-free' town).

Dr Fiona Rothchilds is a researcher, writer and oral historian.
