    This file consists of the correspondence between the Secretary and Supreme Court Officers, solicitors and various shareholders together with rough workings, draft material and news clippings for the court case in which Ferguson and Farr were charged with uttering and forgery. James John Ferguson a share dealer, was charged with having obtained the right to 1741/11/2 pounds by forging a share transfer of preference shares in Associated Newspapers, Ltd, between November 1 and November 21, 1931, with intent to defraud
    Herbert Montague Farr, 33, share clerk, was charged with having stolen 100 preference shares in Associated Newspapers, Ltd.
