  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Frederick Hans Halpern, writer and artist, was born in Vienna, Austria in 1909. He travelled widely from the age of 19, making sketches and etchings of the places he visited. He arrived in Australia in 1951 and in 1956 he became a British-naturalised citizen based in Melbourne.
