    The photograph album was created by Marjorie Smith (1883-1903), the youngest of five children of William Burton Smith of Darbalara station, Gundagai, N.S.W. Mr Burton and his three unmarried daughters Muriel, Constance, and Marjorie, travelled to London on board the RMS Ormuz, Sydney March 28 to London 11 May 1900, and returned on the RMS Omrah, London 26 October to Sydney 9 December 1900.

    This album documents the return trip made by Margorie Smith and family from London to Sydney on board the RMS Omrah, including photographs of the family on deck and shipboard activities. One photograph shows Marjorie and her sisters on deck titled ‘The Smith Push’. There are also photographs of the family at their property 'Darbalara', and a picnic at the local Gundagai show in 1901. Marjorie has also included within the album a brief verse and a sketch.
