This collection comprises Estelle Myers papers, predominantly relating to her activities and projects with the Rainbow Dolphin Centre. Also includes material relating to theatre, musical, tv productions and conferences.

BOX 1-2
Material relating to Myers’ studies in social ecology (MAppSc) at the University of Western Sydney and her Ph.D thesis ‘Midwife to Gaia, Birthing Global Consciousness: A Reflective Topical Autobiography’ at the Southern Cross University, c. 1998-2008. Includes papers, drafts, research notes, conference abstract.

BOX 3
Material relating to Myer’s Rainbow Dolphin Centre in New Zealand. Includes files with (photocopies of) articles, newspaper and magazine clippings about water births and dolphins, media releases, brochures, flyers, correspondence, proposals, reference letters, reports, photographs, 35mm slides and negatives. Also contains a 1948 piano award certificate and a photocopy of Myers’s book ‘Cross your bridges when you come to them’. Circa 1948-2004.

Newspaper and magazine clippings relating to dolphins, whales and water births, press release and program 1st International Waterbaby Homo/Delphinus Conference (1982), television documentary proposal (1989), poems and song lyrics, c. 1972-1999. Includes photographs.

Also contains a photo album, Myers’ vote flyer for the Australian Democrats Party campaign (Wentworth), and a 1950 publication ‘The Influence of Jewish Women on Jewish Destiny’ by The Congregation of Temple Emanuel, Sydney.
