    Sir Alexander MacCormick married Ada Fanny Hare Cropper. They had 2 sons and 2 daughters. His first son, Alexander Campbell MacCormick, was killed in action in 1916. His second son, Charles Malcolm Campbell MacCormick and his wife, Vivien Wright lived for some time in New York.
