The National Parks Association of NSW is an influential advocate for the New South Wales environment. Since 1957 it has played an important role in the establishment of many of NSW's national parks, nature reserves and protected areas through campaigns and other means. In addition, it strives to connect people with nature through its bushwalking program and citizen science initiatives and raise awareness about the value of the land, water and natural resources.
