    1784 Royal Society’s Medal in commemoration of Captain Cook. Silver medal. 42 mm.
    Obverse: Bust of Cook Legend Iac. Cook, oceani investigator acerrimus Reg. Soc. Lond. Socio suo.
    Reverse: Britannia Exploratrix, leaning on an antique rostrum, holding in her right hand a rudder resting on a terrestrial globe. Legend Nil intentatum nostri liquere auspiciis Georgii III. L.P.F. [Lewis Pingo fecit]. Removed and filed with medal collection.
