  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Anthony Browell was born in England in 1945. He studied at Brighton Art College and Ealing College Art School before becoming a freelance photographer with the 'London Times'. In 1966 he emigrated to Australia and began working as a magazine photographer. He founded the Australian Centre for Photography workshops in 1976. During the 1980s he worked in editorial and advertising photography, and in 1993 he co-founded Oki Doki productions. Browell is also known for his photographs of architecture, and has worked closely with Australian architect Glenn Murcutt for more than 30 years.
