Mario Majarich trained as an architect, completing his studies while the Sydney Opera House was under construction. Following this, he worked in town planning. Mr Majarich was interested in the Sydney Opera House and compiled the collection of newspaper clippings, ephemeral pamphlets and other textual material over many years. He photographed the Opera House while it was under construction and also attended protests during the controversy of Utzon resigning.
