New Theatre is a production house in Newtown, New South Wales. It was established as the Sydney Workers Art Club, 1932. It produces plays with an emphasis on political and human rights issues and has regularly produced productions in association with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras since 1994.

Lyn Collingwood is the archivist at New Theatre and an actress who has starred in numerous New Theatre productions and on Home and Away.
