Canberra-based Jane Bradhurst has been working as a full-time playwright, professional writer and painter since 1977. Much of her work is influenced by humanist and ecological values, and her locale. She has contributed to Canberra's community arts scene particularly through her plays which explore themes and issues such as ageing, interpersonal relations, gender politics, feminism, AIDS, love, revenge, phobias and the environment.
