Since its founding, over 70 members have joined the Branch and have represented it in an official capacity by attending investitures, travelling to regional functions and serving the National Association Committee. In 1988, the branch erected a flagpole at Darling Harbour for the 1988 Bi-centenary. In the same year, it contributed to the erection of the statue of Queen Elizabeth II for the new Parliament House in Canberra.
