  • System of arrangement
The music manuscripts have been physically arranged and listed by opus number within this genre. Opus number refers to the number written on the item (often in red ink and sometimes more than one), which does not always agree with the printed catalogue or published score. Where the opus number is unspecified, works are arranged and listed in alphabetical order by title, after the works ordered by opus number. Where more than one work occurs in a booklet, it is ordered by the genre and opus number of the first work and the rest of the contents is not necessarily the same genre or ordered by opus number.
