    3rd Symphony : Paintings and music (Part 1). 1968-1970. Dedicated to Sir William Dobell. "His delicate paintings and our friendship gave me the impulse to compose this symphony in 4 parts." Score in pencil (61 pages), score in ink (62 pages), score in ink (61 pages, on tracing paper), 3 bound scores (photocopies, two stamped by APRA, 1971 and 1975). One of the bound photocopied scores was entered in a competition under the nom de plume of Moonlight. A letter from the Light Music Society in 1972 is enclosed, stating that the work was not selected for the short list.
