Medical Women's Society of New South Wales was established in 1921 as a representative body for female medical practitioners and students to develop professionally through education and research. It is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates to improve the health of all people, especially the health of women and children. It is affiliated with the Australian Federation of Medical Women and Medical Women's International Association.
