According to Cowan, the material relating to Greek computers such as epigrams, early calendars and shield devices may have also influenced ‘Spanner in the Works’. This book represents aspects of Cowan’s thinking during this period.

    Each file contains more than one facsimile article and topics include Greek computers, Troubadour poetry, courtly love, the Heraclitus fragments and material relating to early Orphism and Kindred religious movements
